on my work activities and other offerings:

This website is under construction, gradually! Here it is, as it is, right now….

That we all labor together transmitting the same charge and succession,
that the men and women of races, ages to come,
may prove brethren and lovers as we are.”

These include the areas of :-

Performance :

Activities of storytelling, poetry recital (mainly Rumi), theatre work.

Inner Work /Presence work :

Group workshops and individual sessions on transformation, ‘awakening’, and soul deepening. My main focus here is something that has always felt like a ‘calling’ to me, of working and exploring in various ways the catalytic and alchemical power of ‘Presence’ in our evolutionary and awakening process.

Tutoring :

Teaching aspects of the arts and crafts of speaking, – in storytelling, poetry recitation, and dramatic speech, and movement and gesture, and presence for performance  work; and also  tutoring for general presentation skills, confidence and presence, beyond the sphere of the arts.

Writings :

There are also some writings here, mainly from some years back, that will be gradually added to or updated. These mainly relate to understanding the ‘Presence Work’ (which i feel is  central to my particular offering), some relevant aspects my own process, and some thoughts and information on aspects of contemporary life that I consider important to be aware of.

My primary intent is (and always has been) as inadequate to the task I am, to make a contribution to the great work Walt Whitman expresses in the poem below, as Rumi does, below that, as Ramana Maharshi’s eyes express below that, and ….

                                        To Him That Was Crucified

DSC07240“My spirit to yours dear brother,
Do not mind because many sounding your name do not understand you,
I do not sound your name, but I understand you,
I specify you with joy O my comrade to salute you, and to salute
those who are with you, before and since, and those to come also,
That we all labor together transmitting the same charge and succession,
We few equals indifferent of lands, indifferent of times,
We, enclosers of all continents, all castes, allowers of all theologies,
Compassionaters, perceivers, rapport of men,
We walk silent among disputes and assertions, but reject not the
disputers nor any thing that is asserted,
We hear the bawling and din, we are reach’d at by divisions,
jealousies, recriminations on every side,
They close peremptorily upon us to surround us, my comrade,
Yet we walk unheld, free, the whole earth over, journeying up and
down till we make our ineffaceable mark upon time and the diverse eras,
Till we saturate time and eras, that the men and women of races,
ages to come, may prove brethren and lovers as we are.” – Walt Whitman

” There is a hidden treasure
buried deep within the earth.
It is covered from non-believers and people of faith like.
I have seen this treasure,
and it is Love.
The ancient treasure that the legends are made of,
is Love.
When I saw that , I tore off my garments
and will not be covered again
until Love is uncovered”

– Rumi

My gratitude goes to the many helpers, teachers, friends, lovers, visible and invisible,

inspiring and sustaining the life of this and other faltering flames;

to the all sustaining Presence

the utterly incomprehensible Mystery,

the ever Unfolding Creative Loving Intelligence manifesting as all Being…

 the Unspeakable

Beloved
